An Electronics and instrumentation engineer is responsible for designing , installing , managing and maintaining equipment which is used to monitor and control engineering system, machinery and processes. Work of instrumentation engineers many include:-
Designing and developing new control systems
Managing operations
Providing advice and consultancy support
Domain expert in IT industry
Project management within cost and rime constrained environment
Maintaining and modifying existing systems
Working collaboratively with design engineers, operation engineers,purchasers and other internal staff
Contacting clients, suppliers, contractors and relevant authorities.
Troubleshooting and problem solving
Purchasing equipment
Writing computer software

The demand for electronics and instrumentation engineers is growing rapidly and job opportunities for graduates are multi-faceted. The graduates can work as manufacturing engineer in multinational companies like Sony, LG, Samsung and Philips as quality controller , research , design and development consultant, entrepreneur and teachers. The field of electronics and instrumentation engineering is growing at a very fast pace. This field of engineering has an extremely widespread application in almost all disciplines of engineering e.g. mining and metallurgy, robotics , textile, rolling mills & chemical processes.
