Hi Sasikala,I'm not too sure if you have already got the desired break, however I think you can join a recruitment agency/search firm. Your MBA HR will come handy. Being in a placement agency, you will be able to understand the market demands better and then plan your career accordingly.Regards,Sumit

Hi Rakhi ,I suggest, you look for off-campus drives of various IT companies, inviting freshers.Since you have completed your program in 2010, you are still eliible. Also, make a list of technology companies around your region and do a reserach on the type of work they do and then plan your short-term course. It can be on MS- technology or on open systems, depending on your interest. Try programs offered by institutes like CDAC etc. Post Graduate Diploma in Internet Security should be interesting.Regards,Sumit Basu

Hi Deepika,There are scientific methods to establish ones area of interests. I would advise you to undertake an interest assessment /identification test . Based on the result, you decide your future plan of action , as you are already in the right industry with exceptional growth path!!NEvertheless, coming to your query, Event management per-se is a vast area. There are short term courses to masters program available. To name a few as NIEM, COEM etc(searched using google). Pls. do your research on the suitability, recognition , facilities before taking such a big career decision.Best Wishes,Su

Hi Kritika,When you do your MBA, particularly post Engg., your area of speacialization in MBA supersedes the Engg. specialization. My advise would be to spend couple of years in persuing a job related to your Engg. field and then take an informed decision on the MBA specialization and the 'institute' as well.
