Hi Vinay you can look into the Diploma Course in Guidance and Counselling of NCERT. This is a one year Distance Learning course covered in 3 phases. Along with this you can join any of the education institutes to work as career counselor, this will give you a first hand experience of the profession. Hope this helps. Regards Jaspal Singh

At present, public sector banks are recruiting clerks and probationary officers in large number in order to fill up the vacancies arising out of mass retirement. This apart they require workforce for new branches and according to RBI instructions, banks are supposed to open more number of branches in rural and semi urban areas. The job will be fully secured and any employee of public sector bank can work till he attains the retirement age.
