Dear Aspirant ,

Welcome to this platform of CareerGuide, com. Its great to know you have completed your b.tech successfully. what is surprising is why are you so confused? any b.tech candidateafter taking his course has a definate line of career as the path is very straightforward. you are also working as an seo executive right, so by now you must be sure whether you likeyour current job profile or not. most important is that you should not select any job profile by its package in this stream, but by its nature of work , and your ability to offer it the best in you, incase you feel that thisjob profile is not motivating you to work the wayyou would like to , you can change it right now , check which of theM.tech specialisations inspire and motivate you the most and what youd love to beengaged with as your career, and something that you do well too so that it can fetch you with the best in the industry that you deserve .

I will suggest you to go for an m.tech or and mca degree , you may check the course structure for both respectively and select accordingly. Still if you are unable to decide , i'll advise you to enrol fora career aptitude test to know yourself better and then gofor the final selection on the nature ofyour course/degree.some good fields are electrical and electronics, mechanical engineering stream civil/construction stream, electronics &communication, computer science &IT which includes client server database, compiler construction ,computer graphics & animation, computer network, distributed system, database,E-commerce lab, hardware design,MIS ,IT,multimedia systems, numerical techniques, operating systems ,programming, web technology etc...just check the coursestructure for each of these streams and then sell which caters to your interest and liking , if you are thorough in your knowledge andhave gained expertise in your sphere, your dream salary package will follow you where ever you go...

Take control now and hold the reinsof your future tight and youll be safe and secure all your life

good luck!

Dear aspirant

Thank you for reaching counsellors at CareerGuide.com!!! You already completed a professional degree, that is B.Tech in Computer science and it is very great you are in job already. Why do you stay confused? You have already decided you like pay per click division in your career. The only confusion from which you will have to come out is, choosing doing an MBA or staying with computer science itself or not. Do not worry, I am here to help you on this.

First of all I really appreciate that you have developed a strong core job technically. You have studied a four year Bachelors degree in computer science and then also currently working in computer related field. I recommend you develop in this line rather considering studying an MBA.

An MBA will completely divert you from technical skills work and please check yourself if you want this. An MBA will give you managing jobs but not technical jobs. As you have invested many years with time and money in developing your technical skills, why dont you choose this alone and develop yourself in this line?

This will really develop you professionally in your career rather than choosing an MBA. If you choose an MBA, your prior studies and experience will come to a stalk. Instead I suggest you to do some courses in Computer science itself. For this, why dont you consider doing a MTech or MSc computer science that has some component on pay per click subject that you are looking for?

If you still aspire studying an MBA, please go for a full time MBA and not distance MBA. You can opt to choose MBA in Information management. Students generally think that an MBA degree is a license to get jobs with high salary but it is not true. A distance studied MBA will not enhance your skills in any way neither employers will recognise it. And a distance studied MBA will become an invalid license and please dont put yourself in this situation. If you cant quit work for two years and study MBA full time, then consider some PG Diploma courses in IT Management. IIT Bombay also offers a course related to this and you can check it on their website.

Finally choose studying a Masters in computer science or a PG Diploma in computer science or information management. If you like to do MBA, choose only full time and not distance.

All the best dear.

After completing your B.Tech in CSE you can apply for job in various IT companies if you dint get a placement from your college. Also put your resume on online placements portals.

You can also join higher studies from some institute. But i would recommend that do it from some top institute so that you get a placement from the college if you think to do masters. Some of top institutes of India where you can apply are Lovely Professional University, Osmani University, Thapar University. You have to be very quick in decision making as already admissions are about to close.
