It is not clear what straem you are in 10+2. Science or Commerce. Any stream students can do their MBA like BSC, B.Com,BA, BCA or MSC, MCom,MA or BE etc. Having said that if you do B.Com Hons , you will have depth of knowledge and some specialization so that after MBA you will have edge over normal B.Com Student for job placements

If you want to do MBA then ideally it has to be BBA in your graduation to form basics but yes incase you do any graduation in any stream still you can pursue MBA.

Thanks for contacting us, I think you should go for B.Com.you can go for MBA after completion of B.com also.
Reason is that while you choose B.com as traditional programme ,you have other options also not only MBA.
if you do BBA then to get admission in MBA is the primary thing and there is no exemption in MBA like fee concession or duration of MBA course .
B.com+MBA is more reliable combination.

Firstly it is you who would have to decide which graduation you wish to pursue. Secondly management exists in all fields, so you would have to decide which sector. Thirdly incase you wish to shift careeers then an alternative is a must.
With a graduation in commerce you could fit into any industry like banks,financial institutes, stock markets, mutual funds, brokerage etc. If needed can opt for professional courses like CA, ICWAI etc.
With a management graduation degree ( BBA), you would learn and be exposed to basic management principles which you can master only if you pursue MBA.
Now this is a choice you would have to make.
