Hello There!

The title of your query seems interesting and I am very glad that instead of speaking this in public you approached CareerGuide.com for guidance.

I am an Educationist and have been counselling students from commerce / management / law / engineering for more than seven years now. I have also been into teaching and further I have also been writing articles on various topics including career management for reputed newspapers and magazines across India.

Looking at your query, made me think to respond to it as imeediately as possible since I myself got afraid that you might that take the very drastic step of hiring a dummy to appear for BCom degree examinations or find some one who sells degrees.

My Dear... First of all, let me tell you that the way you are passionate about Chartered Accountancy course is very commendable and you also realise that it involves a lot of hard work to get cleared in minimum number of attempts. I also appreciate that despite in being in HSC level, you are very clear about what career option is best suited for you and also the thought that you wish to pursue post graduation in the form of an MBA course. Therefore I congratulate you for being so clear and appreciate this.

HOWEVER, despite of you being so good and pursuing right courses, the thought of getting the BCom degree through a dummy or as a dummy degree is surprising and highly unacceptable. Would like to tell you that the Chartered Accountancy course which you are doing and aiming to complete, is itself a ighly dignified course and the Chartered Accountants wo work for organisations should necessarily have high level of integrity and honesty in themselves first and then in their work. As a Chartered Accountant if a person cannot be of integrity and high & right values, that Chartered Accountant will face a big problem in future and all that he / she has earned in terms of respect, honour, money will go off within few minutes.

Always remember that to build a clean image, integrity and to earn respect and honour, it takes years for a person, but to lose all of them just a single instance or moment is sufficient. Then what would you choose for your long term benefit? I think you should definitely choose integrity, honesty and values.

Since CA course requires hard work, it does not mean that only you are the person who needs to put in hard work. All of those who pursue professionals courses like CA along with graduation, need to do this and this is the thing which is respected, appreciated and remembered by the world always.

I strongly suggest NOT to resort to any illegal and unfair means to complete your degree. BCom should be very simple and non-hectic course especially for a person like you.

If you want to get into a good management institute, why not be good in all respects about yourself first and in whatever you do.

My Dear, I request you to concentrate on CA studies and also pass BCom degree genuinely as other do. Always remember the world is watching you at every moment and dont do anything which makes you get caught and which makes you lose your respect and honour and image.

Best Luck.
