I am obliged to see some one interested in making their career in Leather Industry and trying to gather the information on the same.

If we talk about the Leather Industry of India is one of the biggest Industry that provides an employment to large number of people in India. The leather industry have an potential of around rupees 800 billion in India that can provide provide employment to around 25 lakh people. The leather industry has been counted as one of the Focused Industry by the Government of India. 10% of Leather production takes place in India out of the Total Production of the World. In few years there are going to be a wide range of career opportunities in India for the aspiring students willing to make their career in Leather Industry.

India have a great diverse geographical conditions that makes to have a good number of both domestic and wild animals in the country. From these animals a large no. of leather can be produced. Whereas India's Leather has been greatly demanded in the Foreign Countries and also the various goods of leather like Jackets,Wallets,Purse,Shoes,Belts etc.

In order to make a good career in this industry as such no professional qualification or formal education is required. But having a formal education of this field will be always useful because the high paying jobs will be available only for the qualified people.There are various job roles available like Marketing,Leather Engineer etc. Good Package jobs would be available only for 15% people.
