Hello there. Glad to see you approach CareerGuide.com for counselling and seeing career advice. MBA in Telecommunications is itself a very good course and its very nice that you are in the final year of MBA Telecom. You are also employed in a government firm. It appears to me that you are already equipped enough (after completing your MBA Telecom) for a good job opportunity. Are you wanting to join the private sector by doing more studies and why do you wish to leave the government job? I think it would be better if you can think and analyse since this will give you a clear idea and your thought process will also get clear. Also please understand that getting more qualifications does not mean getting a good job or promotion. However in a government setup, you can get promotions based on the added qualifications. However in the private sector its not like that

. Taking into consideration that you are already employed and would soon get an MBA, I would like to suggest you that why not learn on the job and gain experience. Also you can look for departmental transfer through which you will be able to learn more things and get more exposure to other types of works. This will help also you also to be fresh and avoid monotony or frustration by doing the same job with same people. Also if possible you may choose for a different city if you are not married or if you are married, you can shift there. Armed with an MBA I think you need not do any other certification or masters courses, since with an MBA you laready have reached the level of applying the teachings in MBA to the practical work. Now it is more important for you to translate things you have learnt in MBA to pratical work since that can result into good performance and enhanced work quality in the department you work for. This will be appreciated well every where. For getting more well verse, I suggest you to read business newspapers daily which give you that extra and required business knowledge through which you will be able to understand the working and business more.
