A crew member works in order to ensure complete care and service to the customers throughout the flight. In addition, they have an important role in confirming complete safety to the passengers while being prepared for the emergency situations around the clock. A cabin crew member is trained to deal with safety, medical and emergency issues during the flight. They administer the flight amenities and care.
In addition, they have a role in guaranteeing that all the safety measures and equipment are working fine throughout the flight. They educate the passengers about the safety procedures to be followed during the flight and emergency, provide refreshments, food and other necessary items or duty-free items requested by the passengers.
Based upon the capabilities, they are assigned different flights ranging from high-stress to less-stress.
There is less option for internship in this field since training on the duty is considered to be a risky scenario. The candidates are given ground training and can also opt for vocational courses that can prepare them for the job.

There is a written exam and GD & PAT conducted by Air India to make recruitment for Cabin Crew in Air India. Last date to apply is mostly in the last week of May.
