After 12 PCM you can take Pilot Training from an institute recognised by DGCA. After the completion of the course and successful passing of the exam, you can get a license for commercial pilot. As you have mentioned your desire to become an airline pilot, you need to get a commercial pilot license. This is known as CPL license, and to get this license you should undergo a pilot training and pass a government approved written and practical exam conducted by DGCA Government of India. To get this CPL license, you should enroll in a pilot training institute and these institutes in India are recognized.

As a licensed pilot, you’ll have the ability to pilot different types of aircraft and work in a variety of settings and occupations.  Examples include:

  • Commercial Airline Pilot
  • Regional Airline Pilot
  • Charter Pilot
  • Cargo/Freight Pilot
  • Military & Armed Forces Pilot
