Dear Aspirant,
Glad and happy to know your interest in opting for a teaching career and also for thinking for that at the stage of 10+2. This is rare and compliments to you.
Which stream 12th have you done? That would also decide which subject teacher you can become. Further do you want to become a teacher or a lecturer or a professor? These three are different though they mean teaching as a profession.
B.Ed is a bachelors degree course in teaching. After 12th commerce, you will NOT be able to go for B.Ed. For B.Ed. you need to be a graduate, in your case, commerce graduation. After passing BCom, you can get admission to BEd on the basis of an entrance test conducted in the state where you live in.
You can start teaching on the basis of B.Ed. later in junior commerce colleges. If you wish to teach in senior and post graduate colleges and become a professor or lecturer, then you will have to appear for NET/SET exam conducted by UGC in the subject of your Masters degree. For appearing for NET/SET you will have to become a Master degree holder with minimum 55%.
Best wishes
Ii can completd in 2nd puc but i interested in teacher(social scenes )what i can do?????
Hello Aspirant.
I am happy to know that you want to pursue one of the most profession.in India.
So in order to become a teacher, you need to give CTET exam, which is conducted on a national level. As you told me that you a 12th standard student, you might need some coaching/guidance.
If you are looking for coaching institutes for CTET, then let me suggest EduGorilla portal. They have a good listing of popular coachings.
Furtherly, as CTET is quite competitive you need to practice a lot of mock papers. EduGorilla is good for this. Their test series for CTET is excellent. You can check them out.
Hello,
To become a teacher you will have to complete either B.Ed or you should qualify the UGC NET Exam.
To complete the B.ed firstly you have to pursue graduation and to appear in the UGC NET Exam you will have to complete posstgraduation.
If you want to become a teacher of Junior Classes then you can go with B.ed but if you want to teach in colleges and institute then it will be a good option to appear in the UGC NET Exam.
This exam is conducted for 81 subjects. You have to choose one of these subject to appear In the exam.
I hope it helps!
