But I am very happy to see you say you are interested in Business right at school level. Amazing. I want to appreciate you for that. You have great aspirations and hold to it, I can see you being successful one day for sure. Having interest in business, you can certainly do BBA- Bachelor of Business Administration. It is a three year bachelors degree and completing it, you can be placed in MNC companies as a Management trainee initially. Lots of companies also recruit you directly for each department in an entry level position. Yes, you can absolutely choose to study BBA after 12th standard.

All you need to do is, during your BBA course you need to carefully choose your specialization. This specialization will give a lead to your career in future. BBA has many courses like General Management, Marketing, Accounts, Finance, Audit, Human resources, Sales, Project management, Operations management, Business communications, Corporate communications, Business mathematics, Business ethics, hospitality management and so on.

I will give you some idea of what each subject will give you a career into:

General Management: As this has no specialization, you will be into general administration that involves day to day managing of hospitality staff, vendors and travels.

Marketing: Most often sales and marketing are linked together. In this field you will be involved in fixing the price of the product, finding areas to sell it, and bring creative ideas to market and attract your customers.

Human resources: It involves in managing employees of the company, taking care of their attendance, salary every month, appraisals, recruitment, training and development. This role will simply do everything for the employees associated with the company.

Project management: This involves staring a project and managing through the every stages of project and finally closing the project. IT companies and construction companies often have work related to project management. As you are interested in MNC's involving IT, you can study this subject as part of your BBA if they have.

Operations: This is again some what similar to project management but it schedules the operational time, resources, facilities needed to run the project. Operations management facilitate project management. This department frames how many people are needed, with what skills to run a project.

Business/ Corporate communications: This subject takes care of all writing activities for the company that includes internal circular, and even the website. You should have some love for English language to do this subject and work.

Accounts and finance: They are related to performing accounts that detail profit and loss for a company annually. And finance is for securing finances for the company to run projects. They are interlinked departments in most companies. These days, finance has broaden into investment banking and capital management industries too.

Yes, you can very well choose to study a Business degree right after studying 12th Arts course. The ideal course choice for you will be obviously a BBA degree - Bachelor of business administration. So this requires you to choose what you want to specialise in, and you may start thinking right from now.

So what kind of business you want to establish? Does this mean you want to manage an existing business (for example, say parental or ancestors business) or start yourself a new business in future? On both situations, you are known as an entrepreneur, as this person manages his own business. If you have similar aspirations to work in own business then you are better suited to study BBA with Entrepreneurship.

If you have no plans of managing/ starting your own business but would like to work in management levels in companies, then you are required to choose a specialisation in this BBA. You are required to carefully choose what specialisation you like to study and there after work in a company in the same line.
