I want to take commerce in 11th class does it lead to any future?

I want to take commerce in class 11th i've just given my boards and assured that i'll pass them with good marks. I want to know does commerce have a future? Which jobs can I get and which courses I have to do for doing that jobs...

First of all, let me wish you all the best for your board results. I am happy to see your interest in career planning and deciding at the right time. Choosing a career is more than simply deciding what one will do to earn a living, a career well thought and planned on the basis of your interest, skills, talents, personality traits, aptitude etc. will definitely lead to a future. Then commerce in twelfth has a bright prospect for you, and it is a good selection as this deals with courses on trade and business.

Coming to your query regarding job and courses needed for that, let me say you that there are numerous options , opportunities and job offers such as Chartered accountant, Cost and management accountant, Finance and management analyst, Banking, Stock brokers andInvestment analyst, Insurance actuarials , Financial planners, Company secretary etc. You can also get an opportunity to become an Income Tax Officer and other govt. jobs in income and accounts dept. of state and central govt. by qualifying Indian Accounts examination and other exams held by staff selection commission, you can also have a chance BPO, IT / ITES , Law and Auditing firms, hotel management, Accounting firms and entrepreneurial start ups . Regarding the courses, you need to go for B.com , BBA, BBM etc. at graduation and then pursue you masters in commerce, M.com or MBA, MBF to further widen career growth. You can also appear competitive exams for C.S , C.A. , ICWAI ,ICSI and go for foundation courses, part time and full time coursesetc.

You need to keep yourself updated about the markets around the world, the changes and fluctuations in the economy and the bets and innovative practices to sustain in the current situation. And you are sure to have a secure future in this discipline.
