I'm not sure what profession to pursue in!

I have decided to take science for my 11th and 12th, but I am not sure what to do after that. I really get confused and I expecting that I will take Medical, but I would really want to know other alternatives !

Hello there,

I am sure, you are aware of other alternatives in Science apart from Medical.

Since these days, every field has been expanded, so any option right from research to computers can be opted for any 12th pass student.
I here will be just listing down options available to you post 12th. In case you wish to know more about any one field, do let me know here in this portal.
Options readily available includes:

Pharmacy: A 4 years undergraduate course, entrance exam is the eligibility criteria for this course. You can follow it up with masters program later.
Microbiology: A 3 years undergraduate course, whereby one studies in details about microorganism and its effects on us
Biotechnology: A 3 years undergraduate course, linking Biology and technology. eg. X-ray machine etc
Nutrition and Dietetics: A 3 years undergraduate course.
Physiotherapy: Though part of the medical studies, but now a days a separate specialization provided in the undergraduate level. A 4 years course, entrance exam being the eligibility.

Common Options for 12th any stream

Management: A 3 years undergraduate course, open to any 12th pass student
B.Sc IT / BCA: A 3 years undergraduate course in computers, which includes both hardware and software. For B.Sc IT, a student needs to have studied Math as a subject in the 12th class
Architecture: A 4 years undergraduate course, mainly for students who have studied Math as a subject.
Designing: A 4 years undergraduate program. Students with high level of creativity and visualization skills can opt for this course
HomeScience: A 3 years undergraduate course.

Though the above listed options are very generic, please do your own research work either through the online medium or by meeting professionals working in area that interests you or by meeting students who are pursuing the course.
