There are three types of professional degreesin architecture offered through colleges and universities:

- 5-year Bachelor of Architecture programs intended for students entering programs from high school or with no previous architectural training

- 2-year Master of Architecture programs for students with a preprofessional undergraduate degree in architecture or a related area

- 3 or 4-year Master of Architecture programs offered to students with degrees in other disciplines

To enter the Bachelor Program, following requirements are there:

1. To pass the 12th standard with at least 55% (it depends on university also) with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Maths.

2. Writing the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE).

3. Your JEE score will decide your college.

4. Some institutes also conduct their separate exam. You need to clear that particular exam in order to make the entry.
