1. Verbal communication attributes: what we say and how we say our words and opinions.

2. Non verbal communication attributes; we do not say any word, but still by our facial expression or body language to communicate your meaning to others.

3. Listening skills attributes; how we say and listen to the others for effective communication.

4. Negotiation attributes; how do we negotiate and come to a final conclusions without any problem

5. Problem solving attributes; how evidentiary, define and solve the problem of others amicably

6. Decision making attributes; exploring and analyzing options to make sound decisions

7. Assertiveness attributes; communicating our ideas, beliefs, needs and wants freely to others.



Everyone comes on this earth with basic and instinct personality attributes, it becomes and integral part of or personality that we do not want to improve it. But our colleagues, friends and even our self assessment can tell us about our personality attributes.



Since in the field aof library and information sciences, one has to communicate and interact with many people to solve their queries and also to help them. Therefore, it becomes indispensable for everyone to have good personality attributes. Since you have to deal with wide variety of personalities on daily basis, you have to give them some information, you have to guide them off and on.
