Basic Life Support (BLS)

Comprehensive training is provided for Healthcare Providers on adult, child, and infant CRP, training students in the use of a bag-valve mask, as well as an automated external defibrillator. Additional focus is placed in the team dynamics, as well as high-quality CPR. Students are able to master these skills through a combination of video-aided instructions, with the guidance of a trained instructor, and through the hands-on practice that they participate in. Furthermore, the class covers areas such as; special resuscitation situations, conscious and unconscious foreign-body airway obstruction, and a host of other cardiopulmonary emergencies. The BLS course meets the Dental Board of California’s requirements for continued education.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

The ACLS course is one that has been specifically designed for health care professionals and other professionals that handle cardiovascular emergencies. These professionals include: intensive care and critical care units, those working in emergency medicine, surgical areas, or those in emergency response, such as: nurses, physicians, paramedics, and respiratory specialists. Skills and knowledge are provided that are essential to evaluating and managing the first 10 minutes of an adult advanced cardiac emergency. Such topics covered include: Bradyarrhythmia, tachyarrhythmia, and ventricular fibrillation/ ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest. These skills will be mastered by students through the duel techniques of video instruction, as well as through hands-on practice. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Specifically designed for nurses, respiratory therapists, pediatricians, emergency physicians, and other health care providers that work closely with children and infants. Knowledge and skills acquired through PALS Provider course are essential for recognizing a child or infant that may be at risk of cardiopulmonary arrest, as well as the necessary strategies to prevent such an arrest in children or infants. Resuscitation and stabilization skills are also taught for those children and infants that may be prone to respiratory shock, failure, or cardiopulmonary arrest. The ECG course allows student to accurately and confidently identify heart rhythms, as well as understanding the treatments associated with different arrhythmias.  The ECG course is highly recommended for those taking part in the PALS course for the first time.
