Journalists are responsible for writing and editing news reports, commentaries, and features for newspaper, magazines, and radio and television stations. Journalist working for large commercial organizations and government departments have to produce annual reports, prepare speeches and write media release. Journalist has to gather news and information by interviewing people and covering events. Journalist has to assess the suitability of reports and articles for publication or broadcasting with an established style and format and edit as necessary.
Doing an Internship is compulsory. An internship for month or two months with an Newspaper or Television House. During internship, he/she has to conduct interviews, uploading website contents and write articles.
