As a TV anchor, you will work closely with reporters and will be responsible for gathering information, broadcasting newscasts throughout the day and interviewing guests. Ultimately, you should be able to follow current events and present news stories to audiences in an informative, interesting and unbiased way.
A TV anchor presents stories on radio and television broadcasts. Working for television and radio networks and local stations, they introduce reporters' videotaped and live reports, analyze and select stories, and interview guests. They sometimes broadcast from remote locations. TV anchors are also required to have a presence on social media.
· India Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC):
The entrance exam of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) holds one of top examinations in India. The institute conducts the examination to give admissions in various post-graduate diplomas in journalism like English, Hindi, Oria, Radio and Television, and Advertising and PR.
· GGSIPU CET Exam:
The Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU) conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) for giving admissions to students in various graduate and master courses.
· Delhi University (BMMMC):
The B.A. (H) Multi-Media and Mass communication (BMMMC) is a self-financed program which is UGC affiliated, however, runs only by I.P College under the University of Delhi. The entrance exam is conducted in two tiers.
