In Bangalore, Karnataka, India, there is a private institution called Jain University Bangalore. The Jain Swetamber Terapanthi Education Society launched it in 1990. There are eight campuses for the university in Bangalore, one each in Chennai and Kochi.

Numerous undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs are available at Jain University in a variety of subject areas.
