1. Tell us about your experience of studying at BHU for 1 year?

I haven’t experienced college life yet due to the pandemic. I’m attending my classes online. So my online experience of studying at BHU was quite good. In the beginning, we were required to give our email address as they were sending the links on that only. Teachers were very cooperative, they were not very harsh on the students who were facing problems attending online class, but after a few days everything was sorted, and teachers were teaching very smoothly. They were very easygoing. Each class is for 2 hours, they never exceed the time. So overall, my experience was good.

2. What was the cutoff for your branch last year?

190

3. How is the faculty?

Due to the pandemic, we haven’t met the faculty, but they are helpful.

4. How many students are there per class?

In the online class, there are about 70-80 students in each batch.

5. Are the online classes interactive?

Yes, teachers have allowed us to ask questions or have any doubts in between classes. When students ask any question or doubt, teachers try their best to answer it.

6. What extracurricular activities do the teachers suggest to you?

In my faculty, an online event was held with competitions for painting, dancing, poetry, mono act, ramp walk, singing, Hindi and English debate, etc. So teachers suggested all of us participate in that.

7. What extracurricular activities do the university offer?

BHU offers activities like swimming, sports, etc.

8. Were there any hidden charges apart from the ones mentioned on their website?

No.

9. How's the startup culture at BHU?

BHU has a diverse startup culture. People are interested in genres like exports, travel, education, or the welfare of the general public.

10. Do you have any lab classes? If yes, how do the teachers take it online?

Yes, we have lab classes, but as it was online, teachers only teach the experiments from handwritten notes and, they show the diagrams online.

11. What are the best and worst things about BHU's Biology Department that you have observed to date?

Best thing in BHU is that it is very green and the atmosphere is very calm and peaceful + teachers are highly educated.
The worst thing about BHU is if things like your marks, general information, or attendance get wrong or miss-typed, they will take too much time to correct it.

12. How is the course curriculum?

In BHU, we have many options for the course, even if we choose the course again, we have to choose our subjects for ancillary, and for that, they have many options. One can easily choose their desire subjects.

13. Is there anything else you would like to tell the readers?

BHU is a place where religion and wisdom exist together. You have an ocean of knowledge to explore at BHU.
