There are many bases on which colleges are ranked in India. In this article, we will consider the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) rankings of Engineering Colleges in India which were given this year. NIRF rankings are given by the ministry of human resource development (MHRD), Government of India. The parameters broadly covered by the committee are “Teaching, Learning, and Resources(TLR)”, “Research and professional practices(RPC)”, ” Graduation Outcomes (GO)”, “Outreach and Inclusivity (OI), ” and “Perception (PR)”. 1. Indian Institute of Technology, Madras

IIT Madras with the institute ID: IR-E-U-0456 was ranked first with a score of 89.05 out of 100. This institution is situated in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. With maximum marks in perception which were 100 this institution has very good laboratory facilities and teaching for the students. IITM the institution provides courses for both undergraduates and postgraduates.

2. Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi

IIT Delhi with the institute ID: IR-E-I-1074 was ranked second with a score of 85.36 out of 100, with maximum marks in RPC which were 96.18. IITD institution provides courses for both undergraduates and postgraduates. This institution is situated in New Delhi, Delhi.
