How is result prepared ?
The results of the NATA exam are prepared by the NCAT (Council of Architecture) conducting authority. The results are prepared by scanning the answer sheets and digitally storing the responses. The responses are evaluated by computer using a predefined marking scheme. The marks for each part are then added together to get the total score. The qualifying marks are applied to the list of candidates. The result is published online on the NCAT website. The result of the NATA is prepared in an impartial and transparent way. The answers are scanned and assessed by a computer which eliminates human errors. The marking system is also predefined and disclosed to the candidates beforehand. This guarantees that the result will be based on the performance of the candidate in the exam rather than any other factors.

There is no centralised counselling for the candidates who are qualified for the NATA. The institutes involved in the process will be responsible for holding separate counselling sessions for the candidates who will pass the exam cut-off. Candidates who will qualify for the NATA should apply separately for the counselling procedures at each college. The process of the counselling will be as follows: Participating institutes will issue a merit list of the candidates who qualified for the counselling. Candidates would be invited to take part in the counselling on the basis of their rank in this merit list. During the counselling process, candidates will get allotted a seat according to their choice of courses, availability of seats and rank in the list of candidates. For those who get allotted a seat, they will have to pay admission fee and provide the required documents.
Cut-Off
NTA cut-off 2023 is the minimum cut-off score that a candidate has to achieve in order to be admitted to the participating NATA institutes. The cut-off of NATA 2022 is higher than the NATA cut-off of 2023. The reasons for this are that the number of available seats in participating institutes, the level of difficulty of the examination, and the candidates’ performance. In the case of NATA 2022, the reasons for the higher cut-off are that there are going to be more seats available in participating institutes and more candidates will appear for the exam. Following the announcement of NATA result, participating institutes will release the cut-offs of NATA 2022 and 2023 for various institutes and courses.
