Entrance exam
The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Class VI (NEET) is a competitive examination conducted by the National Sample Survey Board (NVS) for admission to Classes V and VI+ in Vidyalaya institutions across the nation. The NEET consists of two phases: the first phase is the written test and the second phase is the interview. The computer-based test is conducted in two shifts: first shift for rural students and second shift for urban students. The written portion of the NEET consists of multiple-choice questions in Hindi/English, English/Hindi/Hindu, Mathematics, and Science. The interview is conducted by experts in the field of education. The objective of the interview is to evaluate the student’s personality, communication abilities, and aptitude to learn. Passing Criteria
NEET is the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test conducted by the National Sample Survey Board (NVS) for admission to Classes V and VI in NVS vaccines across the country. Supplementary exam
An additional examination is conducted by the NVS for candidates who have cleared the NEET but did not get the marks in one or several subjects. The examination is held in September of the year in which the NEET is held. The eligibility criteria are the same as those for NEET. The syllabus is the same as that of NEET. The examination pattern is the same as NEET. The result of the supplementary examination is declared by the NVS during October of the year of the examination.
