If you completed masters or appearing in final year of your masters degree then you are eligible for CSIR NET Examination.
As per your subject you can apply for CSIR NET Earth Science.
Application procedure for CSIR NET starts from March and the exams are conducted in June.

You are eligible for both exams UGC NET & CSIR NET. When you have completed M.Sc. or when you are in the final year of masters' can apply for bath exams.
According to the exams' guidelines, aspirants can appear for the exam with the subject in which they have done their post graduation or related to that subject.
As per your subject you can appear for UGC NET Environment Science and CSIR NET Earth Science.
Make sure you meet all the exam eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.
For UGC NET - You have to score 55% overall marks in post-graduation according to the examination guidelines. You also have to meet age criteria for JRF. If you are related to the General category, you should have minimum age 30 years. In age criteria, reserved category candidates get the 5-year relaxation.
For CSIR NET - You have to score 55% overall marks in post-graduation according to the examination guidelines, if you are from General/OBC category or 50% overall marks if you belong to SC/ST/PwD category. You also have to meet age criteria for JRF. If you are related to the General category, your age must not more than 28 years. In age criteria, reserved category candidates get the 5-year relaxation.
Since you said that you are pursuing MSc Geoinformatics then if you are in your final year of the Post Graduation or if you have completed your Post Graduation, i.e., MSc Geoinformatics, you can definitely apply for CSIR NET not UGC NET JRF.
