Dear Student,

If you have an aptitude , interest and required personality attributes to be a charted accountant than the course will be relatively easy. To excel in this profession you should be really good with numbers. You should have an analytical mind, powers of logical reasoning , tact in dealing with clients and employers and resourcefulness.

The chartered accountancy course is offered by Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, New Delhi. The process of pursuing chartered accountancy is as follows:-

You have to register yourself for Common Proficiency Test . The registration for the course is open throughout the year. However the exams are conducted twice in year i.e. in the month of June/ December. Students registered on or before 1st april are eligible to appear in June exmaination. However students registered after April are eligible for examination in December.

After passing common proficiency test you may enroll for Group1 and Group 2 or for both Group 1& 2 of integrated professional competence course to become CA. It is also mandatory to complete 9 months of study course from the date of IPCC registration , complete orientation course of week before commencement of articleship.Students have to undergo aricleship for 3 years on completion of either group 1 of IPCC course or both groups.

After this , you need to register & pass CA final exam.

Students who have passed the final examination and completed general management and communication skills for 15 days may enrol as member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and be designated as Chartered Accountant

No course is Hard in this world, it all depends on our will & determination.

Well if you talk about CA. it is known to be a toughest course amonst all accounting institutes in India.

Reasons - why it is regarded as toughest:

1) This course actually make a person an expert in almost every field of finance & commerce, such:
> Accounts
> Financial Mgt
> Auditing
> Cost Mgt
> Company Law
> Other Allied laws
> Direct Tax
> Indirect Tax
> Other subjects

2) It is course where you have to do lot of self study. You need to study on daily basis to be an expert in the field.

3) During exam time, you have to study atleast 10-12 hours a day.

4) The 3 year training is very important, where you will learn everything practically and thats the best part of CA course. You have to deal with clients, sometimes directly.

5) The result is between 15 to 25 %

AS I SHARED NO COURSE IS TOUGH/HARD IN THIS WORLD. IN ORDER TO BECOME PROFESSIONAL IN ANY FIELD, ONE HAS TO HAVE THAT EXPERTISE. ACHEIVING EXPERTISE IS NOT TOUGH BUT WE HAVE BECOME TOUGH TO BE EXPERT.

ADVANTAGES:
1) Good recognition
2) Initial salary 35000 to 50000 (depending on expertise)
3) You can do job or do your own business
4) Lot of job oppurtunities

You can join CPT anytime, if you are a graduate then you will be exempt from appearing in CPT and you can directly enrol for IPC.
