Hello There. Firstly let me tell you that you have approached the right platform for getting career guidance. You have done graduation in pharmacy and now you would like to get into fil making, directing, etc. I think looking at this, I would like to recommend you to first introspect and find out whether you want to do your career in films just because of watching films and getting carried off by the glamour, sex and richiness in the industry or you are really interested and have passion in films and acting, etc.? Also I would like to recommend you to speak to your parents and also see what is their stance on your film making decision as a career. Being a graduate in pharmacy, which is an excellent course in itself and has lot of job opportunites, you are thinking of going into a very different, distinct and tough world of films and television. Also please introspect why did you do Pharmacy course then at the first place? If you come to a conclusion that you are really passionate and have the aptitude and willingness for extreme hard work and also a creative mind and also can handle all types of people, then only choose film directing as your career. Here, CareerGuide.com's psychometric assessment toll can be the best bet to tell you what you are really made up for and whether you have the capabilities required to be in a particular field of career. Psychometric tests will give you the confidence to decide your career path. Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) based at Pune will be the best institute for starting your career in film related aspects. Also apart from film directing you can also look out for other options in the field like script writing, screenplay writing, shooting, television, documentary, etc. Film directing requires extremely great understanding of all the aspects of film and serial making. Therefore, I would suggest you to look forward to a career in film industry only afte really introspecting, assessing yourself through tools and by speaking to your parents and friends. Film industry is no doubt a growing industry with lot of opportunities for young blood to come and work. Best Luck
