Courses after B.com Computer Applications?

Hello, Currently I am in the Final Year of [B.com Computer Applications][1]. After my graduation I want to search for ANY job. Actually I am very much interested in IT Field but at this situation I would like to settle down with any type of job. But remember I don't have any financial problems. But I just want to go for a job. But here is a lot of confusion. I know that along with the Graduation Certificate I cannot get a job easily. So I need to pursue some courses and gain the certificates. So what type of courses are available and how will they help me in getting a job? I [also plan to do MBA][2]. But if I get a job I will go for a distance or online MBA otherwise I will be going with the regular mode. Keeping it aside, my current goal is to get a job. My major interest is IT. From my childhood, I am good at learning [new things about a COMPUTER][3] only. In my graduation also I always listen and perform well at the C Language, MS-Office,HTML and the Oracle 10g Classes. So I came to know that my talent is in the IT field only. But B.com is not related with the IT. Most of the people suggested me [to go for MCA][4]. But please ignore it from answering to my question. I have all the details with me what to do and how to do? All I need is the advices in choosing and doing the Short term courses itself. I can adjust with any Finance or Accounting jobs also because I am a commerce student. So it is clear that I want to search for an IT job or a job related to Finance and Accounts. So please suggest me some of the certifications which are JOB ORIENTED. Talking about the other side I know that there are some [professional courses also like CA,CS][5],etc. I want to leave all of them. I just want to take up a job. So for this goal I need to pursue some courses. So I need help regarding the Courses which are available for Graduates related to IT field or Finance and Accounts Field. Dear Aspirant,

Though you had computer applications as a subject in your graduation, please remember that you are ultimately a commerce graduation. Your computer application knowledge is just 10% and with this, you cannot get a job in IT company.

You may offered a role of Technical Support or Customer Service Executive in an IT company or ITES company, but the job profile will be very low.

Best is to get a IT oriented qualification by doing a course like MCA or MCM or courses from NIIT or Aptech, etc.

Best wishes,

Dr. Anand Wadadekar
