CA and B.Tech are two different streams and a complete different fields, which require different abilities and skills.
CA mainly deals with Financial stream, Mainly into dealing with accounts, taxation, budgeting and audit.To pursue CA, you would have to clear an entrance exam IPC, along with your 12th. After that clear the IPCC, with a 1 year internship and then the final CA.Also please note that CA can be pursued along with a Graduation course. But CA would require a maximum 12--15 hours of study, so do not choose a course that would take take your whole day of attending lectures or engaged in Project work. Bet is to pursue a generic B. Com, then you could dedicate more time to CA study.
In terms of B. Tech, depending on your specialization, you are mainly involved in designing and implementing strategies and design to help in smooth functioning of the organization.
There is plenty of scope in both the fields. Major necessity is to be best in what you do. Your interests, liking, inventiveness in the field, will help you grow in your field. Competition is there, but you would have to prove your worth by being different.
If you are confused, then preferably undergo an Aptitude tests, to select a career based on your potentials and strength.
