Whereas student from the other streams like Arts and Science also show an interest to make a career in the banking sector. banking sector is one of the oldest sector. Banking has been rapidly growing in the recent time as the development of the country's economy is happening at the rapid phase.
Earlier banking sector was completely having a hold of the Public Banking sector and so there was a career opportunities in the Public Banking Sector. But with the growth of the economy there have been Private Banks that have made to make their marks in the Market and they have been doing quite well. The introduction of the policies like to connect to take Banking Sector to the rural areas which has given a way to the expansion of the Banks. There has been many career options that has given many career opportunities in the Banking Sector both Private and Public.
One who aspires to make a career in the Private Banks like ICICI,HDFC,Axis etc. they need to meet the following eligibility criteria-
1.A candidate should have completed a Graduation Degree from any stream except Fine Arts from a recognised University, scored 55% aggregate or above in Graduation.
2.Should be an Indian.
3.Should be within 25 years of age.
This is the eligibility criteria for the Bank Clerk and PO exams in the Private Sector.
