i want to become an airline pilot but the major problem i have is that nowadays there are lack of jobs in airlines and other fields related to flying.
so is it worth spending 30-50 lakhs on a CPL course and still not getting a good placement.
i hope you help me with this coz my i have my full interest in becoming a pilot.
Form your query, it is clear you know what is the route to becoming a pilot.
Yes. As you have rightly said, these days as media puts in, there is a lack of job in the flying sector.
But mind you, the lack of availability of jobs is only because, an established pilot looses his stability and once in demand starts expecting a little more. That is when he begins to loose his job.In terms of flying, there is a lot of scope both Indian and abroad flying. Be optimistic and grounded, opportunities would be in plenty for you.
At the same time, attaining a pilot degree, is not just a degree per say, will not help in the future.
You could pursue in correspondence, a B.Sc in Aviation if you wish to continue in the Airline industry only.
Hope this helps.
Wish you good luck....
