Dear Aspirant,

Wonderful thought. However hope you know the animation also has tremendous scope and growth especially in India.

Yes, you can shift to e-learning but doing a good formal course in Instructional designing.

I am a Faculty and use modern techniques as part of the course delivery. I have seen innovative techniques being used in education learning right from schools to higher education courses. In the delivery methods I follow, I make use of PPT and Videos. Here animation can play a big role and is currently playing too.

For e-learning, there are specialised companies who offer e-learning solutions to colleges and help design the online / distance learning solutions. Here video and there fore animations help a lot, where real videos are not possible or may violate any IPR laws.

In the corporate industry also, where there are induction programmes, executive training programmes done, e-learning is also used for employees to get degrees and certifications. Companies may also employ instructional designing experts full time.

Your experience of animation can surely be of help in e-learning industry.

I would suggest you to go forward and complete a good course in Instructional Designing from a good Institute.

Best wishes,

Dr. Anand Wadadekar
