I do not think you need any motivational speech and emotional boost, I believe that you are immune to so called adversity and atrocities of Indian society in the name of myths so I am glad for your normal gesture and it is true in life. We all carry millions of microsomes which could be mutated at any stage of life so life is just like that where each bit respiration is the matter of chance---just enjoy your life like a normal person and give your best without analyzing the age factor and other fear factor.

If I refer to the Indian constitution article 14 and 16, HIV/AIDS Bill 2007 where (www.helplinelaw.com/civil-litigation-and-others/RHPI/rights-of-hivaids-patients-in-india.html) victims have fundamental right to claim the descent life as per the sovereignty of nation.

In my opinion and understanding there is no bar and discrimination for educational opportunity to the victim. There is no argument further to say I am AIDS recipient, there is no provision of disclosure prior taking admission but this is your prime concern and moral duty to keep your problem isolated and behave ironically to set a normal example for all.

Rest you concentrate on your preparation and follow the steps as required:

After 12th anyone can explore the admission in either private institution (UGC accredited) or Govt sponsored institute like National Institute of Fashion Technology-NIFT. Metro city like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata having series of fashion designing oriented institutes which offer undergraduate and postgraduate course. At the same time you can think of Fashion Technology also which offers you more benefits and platform at national and international arena.

Career and health dont go hand-in-hand. But definitely health must permit to help us sustain in a caeer.


Firstly I would like to congratulate you that, you have not let your health issue be a problem in your careeer choice.
Secondly, colleges do not ask for a health certificate during the admisiion.
Also please note that your health issue is not contagious, so would not speread in the open through touch or through environment, so there is no reason for you to be bold enough and make it known to the college autjporities.
Only tht you would have to continue with your medications and exercise and food, because if not taken care, it could show over your health. So no worries, go ahead and take up the course. of a Fashion designer.

I hope you know the route to Fashion designer after 12th there are Certificate and graduate courses available for the same.
For a degree in Fashion designing, after 12th, you would have to clear an entrance exam, to secure admission into any designing college, it would be a 3 years course.

As a fashion designer, you would have to have the necessary analytical ability, good visualization skills,
good communication skills, and be on your toes.
This is not a 9 to 5 job, so very very necessary you have to take good care of your health.

Also please note that as a Fashion designer, you could run your own boutique, where you are the master of your job,
You have the passion, no oner can stop you.
