Hello Chetan,
Welcome to CareerGuide.com!!! and Congratulations for completing your SSC Board.
Thats really good to hear from you that you have been thinking about your career so seriously right away at this stage. Usually students at this stage are confused which career they should opt in their life. From your question it seems that you are very specific about your career. There are many careers available having a wide range of scope where students can have a bright career like Medical,Management,Arts,Law,Fine Arts,CA,CS,Scientist etc.

Scientist has been always one of the top most preferred career option who are really good at Mathematics and Science from the beginning.

In order to become a scientist one must have some skills like one must have great interest in Mathematics and science at school level.
One must also have a keen interest in Astronomy and Physics.

One have an option to become scientist in NASA,ISRO,DRDO,BARC. While their is a misconception that NASA hiers only astronomy background students while its nothing like that.

After completing SSC one has to make sure that he scores minimum 65% of marks every year and should also have 65% in SSC too.

ISRO,NASA,DRDO,BARC are the Governement organisations where you can work.

The Pathway to become Scientist is as follows-
1.Complete SSC with 65%(Minimum)
2.Complete HSC (Physics,Chemistry,Maths) with 65% (Min.)
3.Complete Engineering with 65% (Min.)

After completing your Engineering you can right away apply for Scientist in ISRO,NASA,DRDO.

While if you wish you can go for further education like masters and PhD.

When you are applying for ISRO your age should be below 32 years and must be an Indian Citizen.

You have to give and examination and interview .

The designations at ISRO are -
Junior Research Fellow(Mechanical,Physics,Electronics,Chemistry,Applied Optics)

You can log on to - www.isro.gov.in
and
www.nasajobs.nasa.gov

I hope you find the information useful and helpful.

Wish you Good Luck

Feel free to get in touch again.

Thank you

Warm regards,
Prathamesh K.
