Pilot is one of the career field of which many students aspires of becoming a pilot since their childhood. Pilot as a career has always fascinated. One can become a Pilot after 12th in the Indian Air Force or can also become a private Pilot also.

In order to become a Pilot one needs to select Science stream in 11th and 12th with subjects Maths and Physics.

As their are two ways of becoming a pilot hereby i am discussing both of them-

Pilot in Indian Air Force-

One needs to complete std.12th from science with subjects Physics and Mathematics and should be between the age of 16 years to 19 and 1/2 years of age. One needs to appear for NDA exam which is conducted by the UPSC board .The exam is conducted Twice every year.

Private Pilot-

In order to become a Private Pilot one needs to complete 12th from science with subjects Mathematics and Physics. After that one needs to complete the and earn the Flying License which is of three types as follows-
1.Students Pilot License
2.Private Pilot License
4.Commercial Pilot License

You need to complete these all three license in the linear way and each have different eligibility.

Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Udaan Academy provides the Training for the Pilot License;this is a Government Institute.

Whereas you can avail the scholarship from the Raebareli Institute-
1. Indian Airlines Scholarship- on the basis of merit cum means they offer scholarship of Rs.4,00,000 to each batch every year.
2.Air India Scholarship- Every year 2 students are provided with the scholarship of Rs.4,00,000.
3.JRD TATA Trust through the board of directors they provide scholarship of Rs.10,00,000 to the selected students.
4.The state Government also provides the Scholarships.
5.Madras Flying club also provides the Government Scholarships.
