Biomechanics basically decides anout the specifications for the various devices such as artificial joint replacements, pacemakers etc. Bionistrumentation engineers are involved in making new and better instruments that can look through the body such as x-rays, mri etc. orthopaeduc bioengineers analyze the fricxtion, lubrication and wear and tear of natural joints to develop artificial limbs just as good as real thing.
