If you want to pursue your career in mechanical engineering the first of all go for a sound preparation for JEE mains/Advanced, qualify the test with flying colours, get a seat at a reputed and top-rated institution, complete your graduation followed by post-graduation and side by side keep participating in certain workshops, seminars and conferences etc. to add to your credentials. This way following non-technical parameters, you may be quite successful in the times to come. Another thing that can be done is to acquire a command on communication skills.
