Hindi University is a non-affiliating Public State University in Howrah, West Bengal, India. It was established in 2019 under The Hindi University Act, 2019. The university offers postgraduate courses in Hindi, Translation Studies, History, and Political Science.
The university’s mission is to promote the study and research of Hindi language and literature, and to develop human resources in these fields. The university also aims to promote the use of Hindi in all spheres of life, and to create a sense of pride and identity among Hindi speakers
