Everyone likes meeting new people. They always introduce us to something new. Similarly, when students go to their new college, they expect to meet new people and be friends with them.
Some people expect to be friends with people similar to them so that they can have similar interests. Whereas some people expect to be friends with people of different interests and backgrounds so that they can explore more new things.
College popularity
Students often prefer the very popular schools. Popular here implies to be in a good way. Students always want to take admission in any university which has already some popularity in terms of its education, faculty, syllabus, placement, and many other things. Most students like this so that they can show off their college life in front of others.
Places around the college to visit
Bunking is nowadays a very common thing every student does. At least once in their life, every student has bunked their classes to do something funny to make memories with their friends and classmates. To make bunks more fun students want that there should be someplace around a college where they can go and enjoy.
It can be any place such as the park, cafe, garden, restaurant, PlayStation, etc. Students like some hangout corner near their college for this. This does not imply promotion of bunking and leaving the classes but to make the college life of students more interesting and what they like about their college.
Class schedules
It is said that college is different from school and we all will agree to that. In school, there were classes for at least 8 hours but in University, there is no fixed time duration.
Schools and colleges also differ from each other when it comes to schedules. Schools have back-to-back classes and this makes students tired by the end of the day. But in college, the classes happen after some break. These are some things which students like about their college.
Freedom
Most of the students go to another city, state or country for their College studies. This provides them with a lot of freedom and everyone likes freedom. And so do students.
One drawback of studying somewhere away from the home is that you miss your family a little too much sometimes. You even crave to go home, see them and talk to them. But you cannot. Talking about drawbacks, freedom also has some benefits. The first being that students become independent.
They face the freedom of studying whenever they want, waking up and sleeping whenever they want, and many other things. But besides these freedoms, there are some basic things students need to do as they stay alone now and that is cleaning, washing, and others. Doing things on their own makes students self-dependent.
These were some of the things which the students like about their College. Besides the above mentioned there are some other things too which are liked by the students about their University. The list goes this way-
Teachers
The teachers at college are much cooler than the teachers at school. But they both are equally disciplined. Students like teachers at college.

People who study college in another city or state are often found to make more friends. They like to be friends with different people, speaking a different language, living different cultures, etc. Students like it because this helps them to grow culturally and socially.
Exploring more opportunities
College enables students to find their potential and work on it. It is in college when students know the value of every large and small thing. In college students not only focus on their academics but also focus on the thing going on in the real world. Most importantly they understand the value of money. Some students start seeking internships, jobs, etc.
This is everything about things students like about their college. College is the most lovable place for every person. So make sure when you go to college you do a lot of studies but also you make a lot of memories.
