Admissions to VCE in Hyderabad
There is a “Admission Committee” at Vasavi College of Engineering that controls the admission enrolments for the UG and PG level programmes. The following are the requirements for entrance to the courses:
BE Admission: TS-EAMCET scores are used to determine eligibility for 70% of B.E. seats. The management quota fills the remaining 30% of seats. Candidates are admitted to B.E. (Lateral) based on their results on the TS-ECET
BE (Hons): BE (Hons) admission is based on performance in the BE programme
ME Admission: GATE/PGECET scores are used to determine 70% of M.E. seats for applicants. Using merit, the remaining 30% of seats are filled.
MCA Admission: In addition to having a bachelor’s degree, applicants for the MCA programme must pass the TS-ICET exam. Based on the candidate’s score on the TS-ICET, 70% of the MCA seats are filled. Management fills the remaining 30% of the available seats.
