Life at IIM Shillong
IIM is situated in a peaceful setting surrounded by pine trees, a lake, and beautiful walking trails. The campus is well-equipped with classrooms, hostels, a mess/ cafeteria, sports arena, IT infrastructure, and many more facilities. The campus has 4 blocks of hostels with facilities like sports, recreation, and dining.
The classes at IIM start at 9 am. Each of the sessions is usually 1.5 hours long that includes lectures, interactive sessions, case studies, presentations, etc. The classes usually end and continue till 6 pm and some of the sessions are also held at night. Then the rest of the day is spent attending group meetings or club meetings, making assignments, and preparing for the next day’s classes.
