The University of Calicut otherwise known as Calicut University is a multidisciplinary affiliating collegiate state (public) university established in 1968 near Calicut in the Malappuram district of Kerala. It was ranked 54th by NIRF in 2020.

4. Indian Institute of Science Education & Research Thiruvananthapuram
IISER Thiruvananthapuram is an autonomous public research university established in 2008 at Vithura, Trivandrum. Nature Index ranked IISERs as a whole, 4th in the World’s Top 30 academic institutions, and under 30 in high-quality research output.
IISER TVM offers a five-year BS-MS program in addition to integrated Ph.D. (iPhD) and Ph.D. programs in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics, and inter-disciplinary areas.
