Entrance exam
The HSBTE (Haryana State Board Of Technical Education) Entrance Exam is the state-level entrance examination conducted by HSBTE for admission to the diploma courses offered by the HSBTE affiliated institutes. Passing Criteria
To pass the HSBTE examination, you must score at least 40% in each subject and 40% in the aggregate. If you fail in one or several subjects (up to 3 subjects in a semester), you will be admitted to the following semester/year if you are eligible. You are not allowed to sit for the theory examination for the subjects for which you have failed in the preceding semester/year. You will have to submit fresh term work in the subject in which you have failed for the subsequent examinations. If more than three subjects are failed in a semester, you will have to repeat that semester. HSBTE also has minimum attendance requirement for the examination.
