North East Hill University has a Rechecking and Revaluation process where students who are dissatisfied with their marks can apply for either Rechecking or Revaluation. In Rechecking, the same examiner will re-check the answer scripts, while in Revaluation, a different examiner will check the answer scripts. Students can apply for Recheck or Revaluation once per subject for 10 days after declaring their results. Students can download the application form from website and pay the application fee online. In Recheckings, the application fee is Rs.200 per subject whereas in Rehecks, the application fee per subject is Rs.500. Students can apply for Reheckings or Revaluations once per subject for maximum of 2 subjects. After submission of the application form, the Examination Department will examine it and approve/reject the application. If approved, students will be sent their answer scripts for recheckings or revaluations. The revised marks are final.
