Council of Scientific and Industrial Research conducts the CSIR NET Exam.

Th eligible candidates are selected through CSIR NET Exam for awarding JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) and for the post of Assistant Professor (Lecturer).

Below I have shared the eligibility criteria to appear in CSIR NET Exam –

  • Candidate who wish to appear in this exam should have completed their master’s degree with 55% aggregated marks. (relaxation of 5% will be provided to SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).
  • For JRF, 30 years is maximum age limit. There is no age restriction for the aspirant who wish to appear in CSIR NET Exam for Assistant Professor (Lectureship).

Following are the subjects for which CSIR NET Exam organized –

As you have completed postgraduation in Mathematics, you should submit the CSIR NET Application form in Mathematical Science subject.
