Hi,

Geography is the field which deals with study of different factors such as land utilization population, climate, soil, vegetation and industries across the world. The scope of doing Masters is quite good for this career and for any other career. With higher studies you can always do better in your career. Here it gives you the opportunity to go further in your career. You can go for doing Ph.D and get employed as a senior professor or as a researcher in an institute and college.

Geography is a such a vast subject that you can have multiple possibilities for different field of jobs. You can go for vegetation sector, climate sector, industries sector and land utilization sector also. You just have to see which field interests the most.

Job prospects become better with post graduation in the field of geography. It offers various career options to the candidates who are interested in learning different features of the earth. Geographers are placed in different organizations in the role of demographers, agricultural specialists etc. They can also work in research as i mentioned earlier and government sectors. In research agencies such as environmental issues, population studies and rural development. Teaching profession can be undertaken in universities, schools and colleges and you can even open your own coaching classes also.
