The typical day of a Geographer involves the study of land, region or particular area of the earth. They get themselves involved in studying the various aspects of geography and use the modern technologies to draw their conclusions. Below are the main activities they get involved in their day to day lives:

1. Check their emails and see the follow ups of the assignments they are working on.

2. Coordinate with the team members and discuss the progress of their project.

3. They work on the data or statistics that are with them and do the analysis on it. The analysis is done by the tools and technologies employed by the organization.

4. They do the research and study based on their findings. Sometimes they have to travel to different places in order to understand things better.

5. Throughout the day they work on their findings and reassess their work and discuss it with other geographers.

6. They provide the relevant findings to higher authorities or other organizations which are further used by government and media.
