Choice between a post MBA sales job in electric goods sector company v/s insurance sector company ?
I did BTech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from IP Univ , Delhi . Then worked as a Systems Engineer in Infosys for 2 years . But somehow realized that these things didn't really suit my interests , so I decided to pursue MBA. Since I am good with my communication skills and understand marketing concepts well , I was very sure that MBA in marketing is the right way for me.
I just finished MBA from LBS , Delhi . I joined a company which manufactures and sells electrical goods , but the pay is very less ( almost the same as I was earning before MBA ) . I also have a call from an insurance sector company which pays much better , but I have been told by many that insurance sales are tough . Considering that I am a bit tied up financially , I am inclined towards the latter . Is my inclination justified ?
