12th Standard marks are not relevant for rank in JEE main but as an eligibility criteria wherein you should have atleast 75% ( 65% for SC/ST).

How to get top rank in JEE Main .... Let me tell you right in the begining that it is definitely more of your Passion and hard work over IQ to get a top rank.
I am not sure you are at 11th or 12th or appearing for JEE Main 2017 ...
Some points about JEE Main
1. It is conducted by CBSE
2. Syllabus is NCERT PCM XI-XII
3. Paper 1 is the main paper . Question are in objective format with Negative marking scheme.
4. Application based questions are asked.
5. Every year around 13L students compete for the top institutes.

You have not mentioned for Three year or Five year course. I will place my answers keeping in mind both.

you need to clarify arts as in english , hindi etc subjects or arts designing..
Anyways, let me drop few liners accordingly keeping in mind two assumptions:
1. For students into literature or history etc a simple course in order to use a computer and troubleshoot simple problems is enough. Say.. a certificate course of 6 months should be enough.
2. If it is for designing then you need to learn lot of tools that helps and you to improving your designing. There could be lot of variety of courses because designing itself have lot of options.

Good to kow that you are opting for higher studies. I can understand the dilema you are in right now.... Let me give you few pointers or rather say 'line of thoughts' for your to ponder upon.
1. What is important for you subject interest .... i.e. go deeper into the studies of electronics ?

Ya these institutes and colleges offers BSc as well and most of them take students through entrance Test.
