Dear Friend,

As you know in today world you have to be slightly ahead of the curve to have a high growth trajectory for your self.

Mechanical engineering does provide you with a specialized degree in technical aspects and the option for you could be

1) Moving to Core : you can consider doing higher studies like MTech from Good Institutes like IITs or could consider going out of country to pursue MS from reputed university abroad. The advantage would be to move into super specialization and creating a Niche for your self.

2) Professional Course : You could consider MBA as a option to Diversify since MBA gives you an advantage and fayer of management. Doing an MBA after Engineering has been a trend and is widely accepted and regarded by industry.
A recent data suggested that of all the IIM in india More than 75% of Management Graduates are engineers.

3) Off Track : In recent years many well educated people has opted into uncharted waters, which could be any thing from Photography to teaching to blogger to journalist. It totally depends on your area of interest. If you believe that you have a hobby which can provide you and extra earning option you can consider that as well.

In today world of Multiple tasking you have to be Master of all...
